ELECTRICITY

Our voltage is 230V 50 cycles AC. International adaptors are available for hire at Reception (230V not 110V).

FERRY SERVICES

We are pleased to offer you a free, on-demand service using our charming, small private ferry for the 2-minute crossing from your private island resort here at Motu Akitua to the main island of Aitutaki, across the romantic O’otu (Full Moon) Channel. This service operates for your convenience between 7am to 11pm daily. Please contact the Front Desk to arrange a ferry crossing. When returning back to The Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa, please use the hotline telephone service located at the Landing. The hotline telephone will automatically transfer your call to the Resort’s Front Desk. A surcharge applies to any ferry crossings outside those hours of operation.

FRUITS & VEGETABLES

The Cook Islands has a tropical climate and at certain times of the year we have an abundance of locally grown fruit and vegetables such as succulent, flavoursome mangoes, papayas, bananas and much more, however, during the off-season some seemingly common fruits and vegetables can prove unobtainable. The height of the ‘on-season’ is our ‘summer’ months of November / December through to around April.

GAME FISHING

Front Desk will be pleased to assist you with booking a game fishing excursion in our abundant waters. These operate Monday to Saturday. Please dial “0”.

GIFT SHOP

The on-site Vaka Gift Shop is open from 8am to 12midnight daily. For your convenience you are able to charge your selected souvenirs or personal items to your room account.
