RESTAURANT & BAR FACILITIES
We offer two restaurants and bars for your enjoyment here at The Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa. Named in honour of the HMS Bounty, the spacious Bounty Restaurant and terrace is located beside the freshwater swimming pool and Lobby, with beautiful views of Kuriri Point across the O’otu (Full Moon) Channel. Here you are able to dine within the cool shade of the restaurant proper, on the sands overlooking the Full Moon Channel and lagoon beyond, or on the deck by the pool.
From the Flying Boat Beach Bar & Grill – named in honour of the romantic Flying Boat aircraft of the Coral Route era – you are able to take in truly magnificent views of breathtaking Aitutaki Lagoon – easily the best views from any restaurant anywhere in the Cook Islands, and possibly, the world. From here you are also able to drink in spellbinding views of our stunning tropical island sunsets, to die for.
* Please note that only one restaurant would be open at any one time during meal service. To maximize your enjoyment we provide service in the restaurant setting best suited to the conditions of the day.

Breakfast 7:30am – 10am
Breakfast Room Service 7:30am – 10am
Lunch 12noon – 5pm
Dinner 6.30pm – 9pm
Room service hours 12noon-9pm
Please check with Front Desk for dinner location and daily programme. Generally, Breakfast is served in the Bounty Restaurant and Lunch and Dinner are served in the Flying Boat Beach Bar & Grill, weather permitting.

The Aitutakians are renowned for their skilled and talented dancers and drummers, and have received numerous awards in the Annual National Dance Competitions. A visit to Aitutaki is never complete without the experience of island dancing and feasting. Watch our local dancers perform the fast drum dance and participate in the ‘ura piani’ where you get to show off your own moves! The ‘Legends of Polynesia’ Umu Feast & Dance Show here at The Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa is the best Aitutaki has to offer, complete with an authentic traditional feast cooked in an earthoven ‘umu’, and the performance by the island’s best. RESORT ACTIVITIES
The Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa offers a variety of diversions for the enjoyment of our guests, ranging from windsurfing, kayaking and snorkelling, to a wide range of cultural activities and even crab hunting and crab racing by evening. Please refer to the Activities Blackboard or your Guest Newsletter for the day’s highlights, or ask our friendly team at the Activities Hut.
RESORT MANAGER’S SUNSET COCKTAIL PARTY
As our valued guest you are invited to the meet our resort team and mix and mingle with fellow guests at the Resort Manager’s Sunset Cocktail on Monday and Thursday at 5:30-6:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the resort management and staff in a casual, convivial atmosphere. The Sunset Cocktail Party is held either at the Flying Boat Beach Bar along Sunset Beach, or at the Bounty Restaurant overlooking the Full Moon Channel; please contact Front Desk to confirm location on the day.
ROOM SERVICE
For your convenience and enjoyment Room Service Breakfast is available from 7:30am-10am daily, and Room Service Lunch or Dinner are available from 12noon-9pm daily. Please refer to the Room Service Menu provided within your bungalow for the a la carte selection available. To place your order, please contact the Flying Boat Beach Bar & Grill on extension “305”. In the event dinner service has been transferred to the Bounty Restaurant due to the weather, you can then contact Room Service on extension “315”. The Room Service delivery charge is NZ$7 per order.
